This Tax & MOT exempt 1979 Kawasaki KZ1000B LTD has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.

We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Battery, badges, kill knob & ball end off the front brake lever being the most obvious.

Sadly, there is a broken fin on the top of the right side of the cylinder head.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.

The wheels look straight with nice clean alloy rims, good discs, calipers & working master cylinders.

Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy.

Mudguards are both solid & are tidy.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments look good.

Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.

Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside.

Exhausts are original & solid.

Seat base is in good condition throughout.

Non-standard Indicators are tidy.

Chain guard is tidy.

The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter –

sounds/feels great & has compression - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.

Larger bikes or destinations in Scotland, Cornwall or within the M25 area will cost more.
